Please let the readers know that they seem to have a quota of how many they allow a day as I tried to book for my 82 year old father, they said it's full the moment I mentioned it's the "Flash Your Age" promotion. Think it's false advertising........diners beware!

I experienced the same response. Really leaves one the feeling that this is a gimmick...

And now it seems their line is always busy maybe they hung it up! sigh.

I tried booking for my mum-in-law (Mon) & father's birthday (Sun) but all reached quota. When I asked them what is the quota for each restaurant. Their reply was standard & expected. Their reply was it was confidential. If you have not booked yet, you can forget about getting a reservation.

They started this promotion on 17 March, we went to book on 20 March via email (we spoke to one of the Manager, Eve and was told we could book via email)and they never even bother to respond. We followup via call today 30 March, They say we need to book in one month in advance. Since when was did it state in its terms and conditions? see http://www.slsrewards.com.sg/promotions/en/index.aspx

Poor Marketing plan and I was surprised to see BIG reputable Hotel used lowly gimmick method to mis-lead customers.

WTF

Just called up the hotel, all their five restaurants have reached the quota for today's birthday! So I will be celebrating my birthday at Crowne Plaza Hotel Changi Airport instead.

I managed to get reservation for June =D Guess it wasn't a gimmick after all ;) I'm sure there are people who managed to reserve it too. I called at 9am exactly 1 calendar month in advance.

Response by customer service not consistent with what is stated on website. Website stated "book at least a month in advance", customer service staff Har, said "not earlier than a month to book. A week before b-day is still ok." Asked for a weekend reservation - all booked. Susequently, called again to test a weekday reservation - also all fully booked. I wonder if their top management is aware of this negative impact on their good reputation. Cheap thrill from a stupendous hotel. TST 65619630

I successfully made a booking this morning. You have to call exactly one month in advance at 8.30 a.m. So if the birthday is on 10th August, you can only make a booking on 10th July. Once the operator puts you through, that means you are in the queue. Be prepared to wait as their customer service officers are all busy. I waited for 15 minutes before someone took my call. So whatever you do, don't hang up, or you'll go to the end of the queue, or worse, miss out. Good luck!

The promotion is up till 31 Aug 2009. Hence all those with birthdays in Sept and later will not need to try. I just called for my mum's birthday in Sept and was told that by The Line operator.
